How to delete your Abba data

Last updated: April 23, 2026

Abba stores your conversations, spiritual journal, and session memory only on your iPhone. Epiphany Labs does not operate servers that retain your personal content. To delete your data, you control your device.

1. Delete the app from your iPhone

Tap and hold the Abba icon on your home screen, then tap Remove App → Delete App. This removes all data stored locally by Abba.

2. Remove Abba from iCloud Backup

If you have iCloud Backup enabled, a copy of Abba's data may still live in your personal iCloud backup even after you delete the app. To remove it:

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone.
  2. Tap your name at the top of Settings, then iCloud.
  3. Tap Manage Account Storage → Backups → [Your Device].
  4. Find Abba in the list of apps and toggle it off.
  5. When prompted, confirm by tapping Turn Off & Delete. Your next iCloud backup will no longer include Abba's data.
Apple's iCloud Backup is end-to-end encrypted: no one at Epiphany Labs or Apple can read its contents. The steps above simply remove Abba's slice of the backup.

3. Cancel your Abba subscription (if you subscribed)

Deleting the app does not cancel an active subscription. To cancel:

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone.
  2. Tap your name, then Subscriptions.
  3. Select Abba.
  4. Tap Cancel Subscription.

What if I never saved to iCloud?

Deleting the app is enough. There's no other copy of your data.
